2010 Iowa Blues Challenge Blues Bands, are you ready for the Challenge? Applications are ready for bands for the next all Iowa Blues Bands Challenge with the deadline being March 6, 2010.

The format this year will again depends on the number of bands involved. The date for the round in the Quad Cities will be April 11, 2010 at Rascals, in Moline, IL. The rounds in Des Moines will be April 8 at Zimm’s and April 15 at Blues on Grand. A third round in Des Moines will be added if necessary.

The Finals will be held May 22, 2010 at the Downtown Marriott.

Iowa Blues Hall Of Fame

The Iowa Blues Hall Of Fame mission is to recognize and honor our Iowa Blues heritage.  New members are inducted into the Hall of Fame each year.  A celebratory awards ceremony is held annually at Blues On Grand in Des Moines, which houses the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame.  Each member also receives a dedicated page on the hall of fame web site commemorating his or her achievements, complete with available photos, sound files and biography.  CLICK HERE to visit the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame web site.
